Live @ the Town Hall goes all-ages

Albany’s Town Hall will transform into a high-energy, all-ages music venue on Saturday, July 5 when Live @ the Town Hall returns with a night designed to connect young people through live music.

Supported by Rio Tinto, this special edition will spotlight some of Western Australia’s most exciting emerging artists, including headliner Noah Dillon, alongside Perth-based Ullah, Spici Water, and local band Freak Maestro.

While this is the second Live @ the Town Hall event for 2025, it is the first ever to be alcohol free and open to all ages— making it an ideal night out for young people, families, and live music lovers of any generation.

Noah Dillon is known for his emotionally honest songwriting and energetic live performances. Drawing inspiration from everyday relationships and the human condition, his music blends heart-on-sleeve lyricism with passionate indie-rock intensity. With a growing national following, Dillon’s raw yet joyful sound has made him one of WA’s most compelling new voices.

The July event promises to be gritty, loud and full of energy—giving young people in Albany a chance to experience the power of live music in a safe and inclusive setting.

City of Albany Community Development Officer Dylan Moir said the event was about more than just entertainment.

“This edition places a special focus on engaging young people—bringing them into Albany’s live music culture,” he said.

“By exposing youth to a wide range of music genres and giving them opportunities to connect with artists they may not typically encounter, performances like these can have a lasting impact on confidence, creativity and self-expression.

“Advocating for an iconic all-ages live music event is a strategic goal of the Youth Friendly Albany Plan, and the City of Albany is proud to be delivering this edition to young people in our community.”
