Our Flag Means Love: A Camp Pirate Party for Queers and Allies
Past Event

Arrrr, me hearties! Set sail for swashbuckling adventure on the evening of 26 July for a special gathering at the Albany Town Hall! Albany Pride is teaming up with the Maritime Festival to celebrate our community and our advocates with a touch of pirate flair under the banner of "Our Flag Means Love", accompanied by themed music, food, drinks and perhaps even a pop up camp shanty!
Join Albany Pride at 5:30pm at the Albany Town Hall to foster community connections and strengthen our support network. Dress to impress in your finest pirate attire, or simply come as you are – all are welcome aboard our ship of love and acceptance, inspired by Our Flag Means Death, a quirky queer pirate adventure: https://m.imdb.com/title/tt11000902/
Indulge in a selection of drinks available from the venue’s bar, including local wines & beers plus a themed punch and non-alcoholic options.
As we navigate the seas of friendship and solidarity, we’ll enjoy some dance party rhythms with plenty of merriment.
It’s a free event so please help us hoist the flag of inclusivity and sail towards a brighter tomorrow. All hands on deck for Our Flag Means Love – see you there!
