First Floor Space

The first-floor is available for hire by artists, art groups and organisations for the presentation of cultural and creative events

It will be suitable for the presentation of a range of events, such as:

  • Community exhibitions and events
  • Artisan, designer and maker fairs or exhibitions with a commercial orientation
  • Cultural and creative industry symposiums, events, lectures, talks, exhibitions 
  • Multi-artform installations
  • Contemporary performance development and presentation
  • Live music and concerts
  • Cabaret and cocktail style events and functions
  • Dancehall style events
  • Civic events

We are still working through full performance fitout of this space, we anticipate this to be complete by March 2021. For now, the space includes:

  • Stage & Dressing room
  • Main floor (136.8m2)

  • Undercroft (72m2)
  • 2nd floor Gallery seating (approx. 60 seats)

Due to current Covid restrictions the capacity of the first floor space is restricted to 175 people (104 on the main floor and 71 in the gallery seating).
