First Floor Space
The first-floor is available for hire by artists, art groups and organisations for the presentation of cultural and creative events.
It will be suitable for the presentation of a range of events, such as:
- Community exhibitions and events
- Artisan, designer and maker fairs or exhibitions with a commercial orientation
- Cultural and creative industry symposiums, events, lectures, talks, exhibitions
- Multi-artform installations
- Contemporary performance development and presentation
- Live music and concerts
- Cabaret and cocktail style events and functions
- Dancehall style events
- Civic events
Commercial hire of the Town Hall Auditorium is also available for private functions.
The space includes:
- Stage and dressing room
- Main floor (136.8m2 - capacity approx. 128 seated or standing
- Undercroft (72m2)
- 2nd floor Gallery seating (approx. 71 seats)
- Bar (mobile)
- Optional chairs and tables

All not for profit arts and cultural organisations, community organisations and sole traders and partnerships operating in the creative and cultural industries are eligible for the Community Rate. All other types of bookings will be charged at commercial rates.
