May Council Meetings at the iconic Albany Town Hall

Past Event

2021 marks 150 years since Albany was declared an independent Local Government Area by the then Governor of Western Australia Frederick Weld.

As one of the first six local government areas established outside of Perth, Albany took its rightful place in WA’s history as a thriving economic node and robust, growing community.

To mark this occasion, the May council meetings will be held at the Albany Town Hall – the original home of Albany’s local government.

Please join us and celebrate this important moment in Western Australian history.
Meeting dates:

◊ 11 May 2021 from 6pm: Community and Corporate Services Meeting
◊ 12 May 2021 from 6pm: Development & Infrastructure Services Committee Meeting
◊ 25 May 2021 from 5.30pm: Ordinary Council Meeting

The May Ordinary Council Meeting will also feature a performance by the City of Albany Band.
