ART AFTER DARK
Thursday 14 November 2024 | Vancouver Arts Centre
THIS MONTH'S THEME: GREAT SOUTHERN ARTS ORGANISATION FOCUS
The Great Southern region of Western Australia is a true haven for artists and creatives, drawing inspiration from its stunning landscapes and the strong sense of community within the local arts scene.
The City of Albany’s Arts and Culture team warmly invites members and representatives from the many arts organisations in the Great Southern to join us for our monthly networking event Art After Dark. It’s a great chance to share what you’re working on, find out about local projects, and connect with others in our vibrant community. All members of the local arts community are welcome to attend, whether you’re part of an organisation or an independent creative.
If you're keen to present a quick snapshot of your arts organisation, talk about a project, or pitch an idea to find creative collaborators, please get in touch with Cultural Development Officer Donna Cameron ([email protected] / 6820 3851).
Please note—Donna will be on leave from 26 September to 30 October. If you want to express your interest during that time, feel free to reach out to our Arts and Culture Booking Officer, Ida Heidenberg ([email protected] / 6820 3852).

Art After Dark is a series of free networking events hosted by City of Albany’s Arts and Culture team. Art After Dark brings together members of our local creative community to socialise, make connections, share ideas and learn about opportunities in the arts world. Every Art After Dark event features a unique creative theme and takes place once a month, from 5-7pm on Thursday evenings.
The final Art After Dark event for 2024 will be a ‘Creative Christmas’ end of year windup on Thursday 12 December at Vancouver Arts Centre.
